The Review
With one of the lowest VAPEMIXR scores for a device that actually worked out of the box (pretty much every device with a lower score was either broken or faulty straight out of the box), the Veev Now leaves a massive amount to be desired.
The first thing I'll mention is the design - it's not terrible but isn't the best either. Having a smooth, plain body with bright coloured mouthpiece and baseplate does give some contrast.
The problem begins with the flavour. It's a very weak flavour, and is a little removed from being watermelon, having a fairly strong chemical taste. It didn't have much of a hit either, with the flavour petering out before it's able to hit the back of the throat. Cloud production was also sub standard, with the cloud being very thin and dispersing almost immediately.
Now for the biggest issue - the inhale. It has two very small air intake holes on its side, and the airflow is extremely restrictive, to the point it is very difficult to use. The placement of the air intake holes also severely hinders the airflow - they are positioned exactly where your hand would be when you are holding the device. This means you have to adjust your grip on the device or hold it in an uncomfortable way to avoid blocking the air intake with your hand. And even though it does have two air intake holes, if your grip blocks just one of them it becomes almost impossible to actually use.
The puff count is also an issue... or a good thing, depending on how you look at it. It lasted about 250 puffs against its advertised count of 500.
Overall, it's a badly designed, badly executed device that is exceedingly difficult to use. I do have a theory, this device was made by Philip Morris, who makes cigarettes. My thought is that they thought "if we make a vape that's so bad, people will stick to cigarettes". But, that's just a theory, a vape theory... wait... that's not my channel...
